The Ottery Group is seeking Archeological Supervisors / Monitors with experience in conducting archeological monitoring and directing survey fieldwork. Primary responsibilities will include archeological monitoring and technical reporting during construction projects.
This role will be a temporary hourly position with potential for full-time. A preference will be given to candidates in the Mid-Atlantic region, particularly in eastern Pennsylvania.
The position requires:
- MA (RPA qualified) in Anthropology, Archeology, or related field
- Prior experience conducting archeological fieldwork, particularly monitoring
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to prepare daily construction monitoring reports (or similar)
- This is a remote position, but requires a vehicle and the ability to travel as necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions in a construction setting
- Ability to carry equipment while conducting fieldwork
The anticipated base pay range is $25-27 per hour, based on experience.
