Are you a motivated, detail-oriented, fun, and compassionate pediatric occupational therapist? Do you enjoy play-based intervention, helping babies and children, being creative, and building relationships with families? Do you strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families you work with? If so, the position of pediatric occupational therapist at KWalk Kids may be the right fit for you.
KWalk Kids is a local pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and wellness company that serves patients in San Diego County—in-home, online through virtual consultation, and in the community at parks, beaches, playgrounds, and more. Our mission is to help children and families through all stages of development, by empowering families to help their children through hands-on skills, routine-based interventions, and purposeful play.
We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time occupational therapist (with the opportunity to expand to full-time if desired) who has good time management skills and is enthusiastic, compassionate, empathetic, organized, professional, excited to learn, and passionate about helping children and their families. Must be available for a minimum of 10 patients per week. The primary patient population is early intervention (birth- age 3).
We believe in family-centered care and the importance of working collaboratively to create goals and a treatment plan. You would create your own desirable schedule and coordinate meeting families in their home or community. We currently travel to Central San Diego, Coastal San Diego, Southern San Diego, and La Mesa/East County.
We offer training, mentorship, and a supportive environment for our clinicians. We value professional development, self-advancement, and motivation, and in being the best clinicians we possibly can be. We want you to have an exemplary work/life balance and to find your work enjoyable and rewarding. If you think you would be a good fit, please apply.
