Speech-Language Pathologist - Pediatric (Day Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders through thorough evaluations, using a variety of diagnostic tools and methods.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater specifically to the needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions to maximize patient outcomes.
- Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
- Educate parents, caregivers, and families on effective communication techniques and strategies to support their children's development.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and other relevant professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, report patient outcomes and progress to healthcare teams and family members.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate required by the start date.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Current TB skin test.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in day care or educational settings.
- Demonstrated ability to implement creative therapy solutions tailored to individual children.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups, including children, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical practices in speech-language pathology.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and software relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Excellent observation and analytical skills to accurately assess and diagnose disorders.
