Banner Heart hospital CVOR consists of 6 surgical suites including 1 angio and 1 hybrid suite. The highly skilled CVOR staff assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in the care of patients undergoing a variety of Cardiac and Vascular surgeries. The CVOR is required to be available during off hours, holidays, and weekends with on-call coverage.
SHIFT DETAILS
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 5-8s or 4-10s | 40hrs
Schedule: Monday - Friday
On Call: Required to take Admin call on the weekends, may require some weekend call.
Enjoy a flat rate $5/hr for call, $3/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential, when applicable.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff. Demonstrates clinical expertise of the assigned area. Provides leadership in clinical, financial, and personnel management within the department.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Oversees the operations of the unit to ensure smooth and efficient patient care management.
- Manages the unit to ensure patient and employee satisfaction while promoting safety and retention.
- Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Develops leadership skills among staff including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and employee engagement.
- Facilitates unit meetings and shared governance/leadership efforts.
- Responsible for selection, orientation, on-boarding, and retention.
- Assists in the development of the operational and capital budget.
- Supervises clinical unit staff to ensure excellent patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of nursing and healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires a current RN license in state of practice. BLS Required. Must possess at least 1-2 years of clinical experience relevant to patient population.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
