At Weiss, interns and first-year associates are an integral part of our team. We work to create an approachable environment where interns and early-career staff can learn, grow, be part of a collaborative team, and achieve their career goals. Just ask our partners and senior managers: many of them started out as interns and associates themselves. Consider just a few of the benefits that make Weiss a uniquely people-oriented place to work:
- Generous continuing education support
- Free meals and perks during tax season
- Paid time for community service initiatives
- Flexible, approachable team environment
- Opportunities for interesting work and advancement within the firm
Interns
Our full-time tax season internship program gives students a chance to get a firsthand look at public accounting from the inside. The program – open to juniors, seniors, and master’s level accounting students – runs from January to April. Interns provide key contributions to tax and audit work and are paired with an associate who can help answer any questions.
First-Year Associate
Explore new areas and find your path in an approachable, flexible work environment. Our first-year associates work with exciting clients on complex project work in a variety of industries. Through our mentorship program, each associate is paired with a senior staff member, who provides guidance and support as associates grow their career. Our small teams include partner participation, giving you a chance to learn from the top, and you’ll find that everyone is ready and willing to help.
At Weiss, you’ll work with clients across a variety of industries and collaborate on projects that can take your career to the next level.
One of the keys to Weiss & Company LLP’s recruiting success is our commitment to local colleges and universities with exceptional accounting programs. Several of our professional staff members are alumni of the schools listed here. Many of them act as “Weiss Ambassadors,” representing us at campus job fairs. They are available for personal inquiries from students.
