Clinical Research Nurse/Clinical Field Training
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse with a strong background in critical care to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in either the OR or ICU, be a certified Registered Nurse (RN), and have direct experience working with medical devices. In this role, you will be an integral part of clinical trials, helping to manage pilot phases, train clinical staff, and ensure quality data collection across multiple east coast sites. This role requires a candidate who resides in a state on the east coast, as travel costs will be covered for visits to clinical sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to conduct training for clinical sites, including site qualification visits (SQV) and site initiation visits (SIV).
- Train clinical sites on protocols, product usage, and data collection processes.
- Attend and support the enrollment roll-in phase, ensuring quality data collection and proper product placement.
- Assist in data collection, including the completion of electronic case report forms (eCRFs), and perform spot checks for quality control at sites.
- Ensure product accountability, including product review, cleaning, and device inventory management.
- Participate in site monitoring, ensuring compliance with study protocols and maintaining data integrity.
- Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure.
- 5+ years of experience in anesthesia or critical care (OR/ICU).
- Previous experience in medical device or med tech research, with a preference for those with prior site experience.
- Ability to travel to east coast sites as needed, with travel costs covered.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and site management.
