Who We’re Looking For: TLC Pet Hospital is looking to hire an associate who is looking for a long-term full-time & part-time position in a great working environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, is willing to learn, and share their knowledge in a fast-paced team environment. We want someone who wants to have fun at work and expand their medical and surgical skills. We are happy to consider both seasoned vets as well as new grads. Our team of doctors have a great camaraderie and are always happy to provide mentorship and lend a helping hand. Job Requirements:

DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
NM state veterinary license (or eligible)
DEA license (or eligible)
NM state controlled substance license (or eligible)
Excellent communication skills - both with staff and clients
Excellent record keeping skills
Excellent work ethic, ability to stay on task, ability to be flexible and multi-task
Compassion and kindness
Respect for others - both with staff and clients
Ability to have fun!

Salary: $100k - $130K depending on experience

Hours: Part-time to include Saturdays from 8-4. Schedule will be all day Thurs-Saturday.

About TLC Pet Hospital: We are a very busy, privately owned, small animal general practice in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are a 7 doctor practice with 7 receptionists & 27 support staff members, most of whom are cross-trained in general patient care, dentistry, surgery, and reception. While we may not be a Fear Free Certified Practice, every staff member is a Fear Free Professional. We recently expanded into a 14k square foot facility! Our hospital boasts separate exam rooms for our canine and feline patients; we have 9 exam rooms, a comfort room that is separate from the other exam rooms, 4 surgical suites, and 3 dental tables. We have separate canine and feline treatment rooms; and a separate treatment area for surgical patients for a more peaceful recovery post-operatively. We have an onsite gym that includes treadmills, a rower and weights; and we have a lounge area for staff lunches and breaks. We practice top tier general medicine and surgery - including preventative medicine, acute sickness and injury care, geriatric care, routine surgery and dentistry, and a variety of more complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray; digital dental x-ray; ultrasound; a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment; tonometry; in-house laboratory equipment (microscope, Idexx CBC, full chemistry, urinalysis, and snap tests); K-laser; and a full pharmacy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
