The clinical laboratories operate 24 hours a day and perform more than four million individual tests annually. We offer a full range of diagnostic services in laboratory medicine with sections devoted to Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology, Immunology, and Blood Bank. An integrated laboratory information system, Meditech, allows for rapid reporting and remote access to results for patient management. Cytotechnologist – Part-Time - Monday, Thursday, and Friday - 8 am-4 pm

Our Cytotechnologists perform all routine procedures, including the cytological examination of gyn specimens which includes initial screening and reporting of normal and abnormal cases and utilizing their keenly trained eye, refers all abnormal cases for final pathology review and diagnosis.
We are seeking a motivated cytological professional who is looking to do something extraordinary with their career. Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Completion of an AMA approved School of Cytotechnology
- New York State Cytotechnologist license from the NY Education Department
- 2 years clinical laboratory experience

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Salary Range: $58.05-$71.29/Hourly
