Pierce County's only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Youth Residents in Tacoma, WA.
Pearl is one of 5 Children's Long-term Inpatient Programs (CLIP) in the state, serving youth ages 12-18 who have demonstrated an inability to maintain safety in their home or community.

Function:Provide nursing and medical services to the residents of the Children's Residential Treatment Facility. Serve as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing and medical services to residents.
- Provide education regarding prescribed medication and medical treatment to residents, families, and staff.
- Document in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of residents, using the electronic health record.
- Administer and document medications adhering to state and program guidelines.
- Provide emergency medical care as needed.
- Receive and transcribe medical and medication orders and add medications to the electronic prescribing program.
Qualifications:- BSN, RN. WA State Registered Nurse.
- One-year work experience with children and/or adolescents.
- Experience or knowledge of psychotropic medications.
- Psychiatric experience, child development, milieu treatment, crisis intervention, and individual, group, and family counseling experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Washington State driver's license; proof of insurance.
Schedule: We are currently filling positions for all shifts. We may be able to accommodate 12-hour, 10-hour, or weekend double shifts. Days and hours to be determined prior to interview.
