Responsibilities may include: - Manage a team of Nurse Team Leads and Nurses across part of Ohio.
- Complete the weekly productivity report and provision of recommendations for follow-up.
- Assess staffing needs and manage staffing process.
- Conduct medication and symptom management appointments with Clients approximately one day a week.
- Educate and train staff on Client care, policies and law and rule.
- Assist in development of company and team goals and policies.
- Represent team at contracts meetings and directly at the facilities served.
- Address the mental, behavioral and physical health needs of Clients during nursing meetings, and daily, as needed.
- Assist team with guidance for Clients in building coping skills to address mood, stressors and improve communication as well as with creating annual goals as it relates to their psychiatric diagnosis.
- Complete applicable portions of the monthly benchmark report.
- Drive the development of new programs, resources and processes for the company.
- Ensure employee compliance to company requirements.
- Act as a back-up to the Executive Director of Nursing when unavailable, as assigned.
Requirements for this position include: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Four years management experience
- Preferably four years’ experience in psychiatric, mental, behavioral health services and in care of those living in a Long-Term Care Facility.
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area, a reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
