seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work
closely with the Director of Accounting and actively contribute to the growth and development of our
accounting department. In this position, your primary responsibilities will involve efficiently handling
customer invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. We
are seeking an ideal candidate with exceptional attention to detail, a solid understanding of collection
tactics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams. This position is an excellent

Responsibilities
Assist with managing the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
Perform full-cycle accounting duties, ensuring all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Handle complex transactions across multiple currencies
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring they reflect the company’s financial position.
Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaise with external auditors, and address any audit findings.
Ensure timely reporting and compliance according to local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Demonstrates initiative by proactively identifying areas where assistance is needed and taking action to support the team across diverse tasks and projects.
Mentor and lead junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with expertise in cross-border financial operations and foreign exchange.
Experience with GST/HST is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.·
