Job Purpose/Background:
The US Value and Income team is made up of 30 investment professionals responsible for managing US$65 billion across three main strategies: Equity Dividend, Core, and Focus Value. The team is currently looking for an analyst to cover stocks across a select subset of industries. Actual coverage assignment will be finalized as part of the offer and will be based on the group's needs and candidate's background.
Knowledge/Experience:
- 4+ years experience investing (buy or sell-side) preferred
- A value- and quality-tilted style basis, but also open to a growth mindset
- Experience in fundamental analysis and valuation of mid- and large-cap, US and International equities
- Strong communication skills
- Original and independent thinker, able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong record of academic achievement
Competencies:
- Strong fundamental research skills with expertise in financial analysis/modeling
- Data driven mindset; investment theses are backed up with conventional/alternative data
- Strong business sense: The candidate must possess a broad understanding of business models, industry dynamics, and competitive analysis
- Strong presentation skills in both small and larger group settings
- The ideal candidate can work closely with a small team as well as more broadly within an organization
Salary and Benefits:
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $147,500 - $209,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
