Must know e-billing for Insurance Companies.
Will consider REMOTE work with 7+ years of proven Insurance legal billing, excellent tenure, and references.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Defense Legal Billing Specialist with expertise in LEDES (Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard) billing. In this role, you will manage the entire billing process, ensuring compliance with client guidelines and accuracy in LEDES file submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit legal bills in compliance with insurance defense guidelines.
- Generate and review LEDES files for accuracy before submission.
- Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain billing records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Stay updated on insurance defense billing regulations and LEDES formats.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in legal billing, specifically within insurance defense.
- Proficiency in LEDES billing formats and electronic billing software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years in Insurance Defense legal billing for a law firm and must know every aspect of the billing process.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- E-billing, LEDES, and GAAP.
- MS Office, Excel, and tech-savvy to learn systems.
- Legal Billing Software.
