Your Future Team
WealthTrust Advisors, an affiliate of Hightower, is a wealth advisory practice that has been serving clients since 1996. We provide wealth management solutions (financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning) to individuals and families. You will be in the office 5 days a week. You will report to the Managing Director. #LI-Onsite
What You’ll Do
We are looking for a dynamic Wealth Advisor to join our team. This unique position touches on all aspects of the business from servicing the client to financial planning.
- Assist senior advisors with the analysis and preparation of investments and planning needs for prospective and current clients.
- Attend client service meetings to support senior advisors by printing reports, taking notes, and completing post-meeting tasks, such as updating the CRM.
- Gain an understanding of the tasks performed by Investment Associates through familiarizing yourself with client paperwork.
- Understand the operations process to include client reporting and quarterly statements.
- Conduct research on different investment strategies and other research projects that support senior advisors.
- Assist with placing trades.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of relevant financial services experience.
- Required licenses held: Series 7 & 63/66.
- Life & Health Insurance License is a plus.
- CFP is a plus.
- Schwab / Fidelity custodian experience.
- Familiar with MoneyGuidePro, Salesforce, and Morningstar.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport with personnel and clients.
- Flexible, collaborative, and willing to perform other tasks as assigned.
- Able to work independently and is also comfortable with close teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize workflow.
