ABOUT THE POSITION
Exeger’s finance team is now looking for their next finance associate. The department is responsible for making financial forecasts, fulfill legal requirements with regards to accounting and financial follow-up. It assists the organization with financial control and analysis with current system landscape to help the business and enable Exeger to function and compete effectively in the market.
As our finance associate you support the Accounting Manager and the CFO in day-to-day financial operations and transactions of the financial life cycle. You will also contribute to the development of internal processes to further improve the existing vision.
Your responsibilities
- Control the accuracy of invoices, matching them to purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure invoices are approved by responsible person.
- Weekly payment files through ERP system and upload to the bank with correct approval flow.
- Day-to-day accounting in relation to payment files and incorrectly posted invoices.
- Payments and Account Payable related activities
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, for example bank accounts
- Assist in monthly-, quarterly- and annual report work for relevant areas.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive person to join our finance team. To thrive in our fast-paced environment we believe you can prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. You take pride in maintaining a high level of accuracy in your work and you’re committed to deliver exceptional service to our managers. You will be a super user in most of the department’s systems, so having a keen interest in leaning new systems and an eye for ways to improve and streamline the workflow is beneficial.
We imagine you´ve completed your bachelor’s degree in relevant field started your master this fall. The scope of the position will be decided with consideration to your academic workload. However, we believe that you can work approximately 20 hours per week outside of exam periods. Opportunity for increased work scope during holiday seasons. Further, we believe you are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Since we´re a diverse company with over 40 nationalities, fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken is a must. Previous experience from any of the above responsibilities is beneficial.
