Based out of our Penfield branch (located in Fairport, NY) this Wealth Advisor position will provide financial solutions to new and existing customers on investment product purchases by informing them of current and long-term market trends and recommending appropriate investments strategies. Our team of advisors provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers in helping our customers achieve their retirement, education, and overall wealth planning goals.

What we ask of you:
- Develop centers of influence to generate new business referrals, including existing accounts, affiliates, and other contacts
- Leverage relationship building and analytical skills by conducting full needs assessments, complex inquiries, recommending appropriate products and services, and cultivating relationships with customers and within other departments at Evans Bank
- Execute transactions with larger and/or more complex customers and/or refer business to other areas within the Company as appropriate, in accordance with established sales goals
- Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with Evans Bank, LPL, and any applicable regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues
- Maintain Evans Bank, LPL, and internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Embrace the organization's commitment to synergy by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to all areas of Evans
Experience and competencies:
- Proven non-traditional banking financial sales experience or equivalent experience
- Series 7, 63 or 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65) and life and health insurance licenses
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Certified Financial Planner a plus
- You are self-motivated and enjoy making an impact

This position is anticipated to pay a base rate between $43,523/annually and $63,834/annually. This rate does not include potential incentive pay and benefits paid for by the company which may be in addition to the base rate of pay. The base rate of pay is determined by factors such as required experience, skill set needed, business impact of position, value of budget oversight and people management, among other factors. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to answer specific questions you may have regarding the base pay range for this position.
