- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the CSS Strategy & Investments Team, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of corporate strategies. This position involves conducting in-depth market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, understanding pertinent market & regulatory drivers and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. The strategy analyst will work cross functionally with other business members to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and strategic investments.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Market research and analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats that could impact DTCC’s strategic direction.
- Strategic planning:
- Assist in the development of long term corporate strategies and business plans.
- Support the evaluation of potential strategic initiatives, partnerships, and investments.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
- Project management:
- Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are on track.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
- Investments:
- Work directly with the Head of Strategic Investments to source and analyze potential strategic investments that could serve as complements for DTCC’s existing services.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance, graduating no later than May 2025.
- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future).
- Candidates must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA upon graduation.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills.
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn new material quickly and gauge strategic insights.
- Comfort & confidence while working with senior MDs across the organization.
- Familiarity with financial services / market infrastructure is a plus.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
