The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is looking for a Senior Auditor to work as part of the Investigative Audit Division responding to allegations of improper governmental activities and conducting audits in compliance with professional standards, internal policies and procedures, and best practices. This position is responsible for assisting with planning and executing the audit procedures for assigned audits under the supervision of an Audit Manager.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits including:

The Investigative Audit Division responds to allegations of improper governmental activities. Our work often results in public audit reports which may include findings of noncompliance, procedural deficiencies, lack of oversight, and administrative violations of state or federal law. Requirements: Do you have what it takes?
- Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards (Yellow Book)
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple priorities with keen attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution and 3 years of experience in auditing/accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
