The Senior Finance Professional collects, analyzes and forecasts market data to connect financial outcomes that help provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Finance Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Finance Professional will complete financial forecasting, budgeting and reporting including membership, premium, medical expenses, FTEs, personnel and other administrative expenses.
- This includes taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses.
- Will perform analysis on expenses related to budget vs actual, budget vs forecast and forecast vs prior forecast and will complete variance explanations. Includes reporting, month end close activities and responsibility for accurate cost allocations as well as ad hoc analysis to optimize revenue and mitigate medical expenses.
- Begins to influence department’s strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and work is performed without direction.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 5 or more years experience in finance/accounting
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and multi-dimensional databases
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytic skills with attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Previous health insurance industry experience
- Experience with SQL

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $76,800 - $105,800 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
