onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Compensation Analyst to join our fast-paced Compensation team. As a Compensation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to administer onsemi’s programs globally. This role will collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition partners, and HRIS partners on compensation policy and pay recommendations. Flexibility in managing competing and shifting priorities is essential in this position. The Compensation Analyst position requires significant attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of leadership within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with HR partners and recruiters regarding compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analysis, job evaluation, and other compensation projects and initiatives.
- Administers compensation programs globally, including the annual merit review and incentive programs.
- Conducts salary analyses, leveraging Payfactors or a similar data repository tool.
- Evaluates jobs and supports job architecture maintenance.
- Partners with HRIS on developing and generating reports, gathers necessary data to conduct complex modeling and manipulate large data sets.
- Converts data outcomes into accurate and summarized insights for executive presentations.
- Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Documents procedures to streamline compensation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drafts compensation-related communications and training materials related to onsemi’s total reward philosophy.
- Accurately analyzes and prioritizes details while consistently producing error-free work.
- Always acts in a safe manner and ensures that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources, math, statistics, or related field required. Payfactors and Oracle knowledge is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of high-tech surveys is helpful.
- Ability to work on global compensation projects.
- Ability to think creatively and align compensation goals to business needs.
- Must have effective decision-making/critical thinking skills and be results-oriented.
- Analytical mindset and ability to manage data sets.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite; must have intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment.
- Self-starter with strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
- Required to conduct business with the highest legal and ethical standards.
