IDB is seeking an experienced candidate to assist in deposit gathering efforts of Institutional Business and portfolio management of existing clients.
Job Description
- Support strategy to grow Institutional Banking business within framework to ensure long-term deposit growth.
- Strong customer service, sales, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to remain positive and customer-focused at all times.
- Provides customers with exceptional financial support and recommendations while ensuring the highest levels of service delivery.
- Is professional, knowledgeable, and capable of working face-to-face with customers to address complex financial needs.
- Work alongside SVP and team to set in motion initiatives that enhance the customer experience in all aspects of deposit management.
- Remain informed about current market conditions, routinely conduct competitive analysis to maintain the competitiveness of our deposit services, and actively unearth new avenues for business.
- Oversee portfolio costs, establish necessary control measures to manage target balances and rates, while ensuring adherence to internal procedures, compliance standards, and regulations.
- Perform timely ongoing annual reviews by effectively understanding KYC/AML onboarding requirements and following compliance policies of desired risk profile of Institutional customers.
- Review customer onboarding documentation together with stakeholders to ensure policy guidance is met and any agreements are accurately reflecting the Bank's risk appetite.
- Ensure thorough and on-time collection of information such as financial statements, expired Tax Forms or other items needed to be completed for customer profile.
- Other ad hoc SME deposit product engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or in a related field is a requirement.
- Strong deposit product knowledge, customer compliance understanding, organizational skills as well as solid understanding of working in a Treasury Management area or Wholesale Banking segment.
- 5+ years of experience in working with deposit products, ideally overseeing an institutional or commercial banking portfolio.
- Proficient in Jack Henry / Silverlake system environment and with computers and the use of various programs and software applications, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Demonstrated strength in understanding funds transfer pricing and forecasting.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and with colleagues.
- Willingness to take on special projects as they arise.
- Should possess strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Results-oriented with a history of driving business growth, an individual comfortable with change and possessing excellent persuasion skills.
Compensation
The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $150,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
