Job Summary and Qualifications
This position is responsible for supporting the purchased services team (Business Analyst, Contract Managers, and Directors) during a client engagement. This will include the assessment, analysis, and providing additional client information in a timely, accurate, and professional manner to facilitate the finalization of contract documents. The assessment and analysis will include working closely with clients to obtain all required spend, utilization data, and contract terms in order to complete successful conversions resulting in contract utilization that provides clients with high-quality services and cost savings.
What you will do in this role includes:
- Retrieves, reviews, processes, and analyzes accounts payable spend provided by clients for various purchased services as assigned. This will consist of completing:
- Client assessment which includes service categorization based on data submitted.
- Client savings analysis based on data provided.
- Tracking spend and savings for each assigned client.
- Utilizes client portal to organize, prepare, analyze, and update databases for all assigned client survey data including spend, vendor utilization, contract terms, and invoices.
- Analyzes information from completed RFPs presenting feedback and analysis in a concise, accurate, and timely manner to assigned purchased services team member.
- Maintains database of vendor service categorization.
- Assists with ad hoc requests from the Purchased Services team.
- May be required to attend and participate in client on-site meetings, providing updates in a professional manner that positively represents HealthTrust and Parallon Business Solutions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in financial analysis with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Proficient in Project, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Organizational skills critical; able to balance multiple priorities.
