Layered Resilience Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, technical, and DOTMLPF expertise to work on projects for a Command client. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and provide support to the client's layered resilience development. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to foreign threats or alliance security as part of joint missions. You’ll guide the work we do for our client and the solutions we deliver for alliance defense strategy.

You Have:
- Experience in the analysis of military forces, resilience, posture, planning, or operations in corporate, government, military, or academic environments
- Experience researching and analyzing international relations and security studies, civilian preparedness and disaster management, and Civilian-Military engagement and interaction
- Experience in Civilian and Civilian-Military Resilience at military strategic or operational levels
- Experience with impacts of Civilian Preparedness and Resilience on Military Resilience at the strategic level
- Experience working at the staff level in an environment such as a military headquarters, on gap analysis, strategic planning, policy development procedures, and associated staff work on the operational and strategic levels of military activities
- Knowledge of Civilian Preparedness and Disaster Response, and Civilian-Military Interaction and Engagement within an international organization or governmental organization
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Studies, Security Studies, or Emergency Preparedness

- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Master’s degree in Political Science, International Studies, Security Studies, or Emergency Preparedness
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
