Your role
We are looking for a CRE Financial Analyst to be responsible for requesting, tracking, spreading, and analyzing financial data, tax information, and collateral values to determine a clients’ credit worthiness and identify emerging credit risks.
You will:
- Place calls to Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to update and complete financial statement requests and loan files.
- Assist Portfolio Managers evaluate financial spreads, cash flow, and credit documents.
- Assist with the credit analysis and monitoring of complex loans to HNW and UHNW clients.
- Be responsible for assuring loan information systems, databases, and departmental trackers are complete and accurate.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management.
- Recommend and implement process improvements in coordination with Portfolio Managers, department Head, and other stakeholders to improve efficiencies, timeliness of information and data accuracy.
- Assist in the timely transition of loans from Underwriting to Portfolio Management with adherence to strict quality control parameters to ensure systems, trackers, and loan files accurately reflect approved terms and conditions, legal documentation, and file completeness.
- Maintain and update Borrower’s loan data in internal systems and trackers.
- Participate in the development and ongoing updates to process and procedure documents.
Your team
This position is for an analyst in the Portfolio Risk Management team within the Banking Group of Global Wealth Management Americas (GWM). The Banking Americas group offers products and services to UBS Financial advisors and clients to help them meet their financial needs and goals.
Your expertise
You have:
- A university undergraduate degree – Business emphasis preferred.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in financial services; preferably in lending or credit risk functions.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results against fast-paced project deliverable deadlines.
- Strong project management and reporting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.

- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
