We are looking to hire an Accounting Manager who will be a key member of our accounting team working closely with the Senior Manager, Director of Accounting and the accounting leadership team. You will primarily be responsible for overseeing and managing the general procure to pay, record to report, inventory, and intercompany accounting processes. Additionally, you will supervise, train, and lead other members of the team as necessary.
- Manage the daily General Ledger operations and month-end close process for procure to pay, record to report, intercompany, and inventory accounting processes, including recording accruals for major operating expenses and recording material estimates to inventory accounts.
- Enforce application of proper accounting methods, policies, and principles for managed areas.
- Review the PL/BS flux (monthly/quarterly) analysis and explain the business drivers of financial statement movements in the managed areas.
- Manage and review of the journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by senior and staff accountants in compliance with SOX review standards.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations of complex balance sheet accounts with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve overall team skills that will allow for the company to scale efficiently.
- Assist in the company’s annual financial and SOX audits, lead responses to internal SOX inquiries and external auditors' PBC requests for managed processes.
- Oversee intercompany accounting for the Americas, including complex intercompany transactions, billing and monthly review and reconciliation of intercompany accounts, and working with accounting teams around the world to resolve intercompany discrepancies as they arise.
- Accounting business partner to FP&A, Operations, Tax, AR, AP, Inventory operations, and other regional finance teams.
- Oversee the accounting for the regional distribution center and consignment partner inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by recommending efficient processes, improved tools and optimal analytics for the accounting team.
- Drive efficiencies in the financial close process and seek out new ways for process improvement.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects in a timely manner as requested or identified.
- Perform business related tasks and requests as requested to support our business partners.
Let’s talk about you
- B.S. in Accounting or related (i.e., business administration or finance), along with over seven years of direct general accounting-related work experience.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Thorough knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accrual accounting, and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of record to report, inventory, and procure to pay accounting best practices.
- Experience with SOX 404.
- Knowledge of automated systems and computer applications (Oracle preferred), with a passion for automation and understanding data flows.
- Mastery of MS Office 365 applications.
Preferred
- Public accounting experience working on integrated audits.
- CPA license (Active or inactive).
- Experience with implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other financial system.

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.
Base Pay Range for this position:
$113,000- $171,000
For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
