Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in assessing risks, associated controls, and their effectiveness, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations while adhering to policies and developing reporting and documentation.
- Engages in activities to provide support to the Compliance and Operational Risk teams in order to provide independent compliance and operational risk oversight of Front Line Unit or Control Function performance and any related third party and vendor relationships in alignment with the Global Compliance - Enterprise Policy and the Operational Risk Management - Enterprise Policy.
- Supports the identification and escalation of problems or issues that arise, driving actions to address the root causes that lead to compliance risk issues and operational risk losses.
- Assists in the development of independent risk management reporting for respective area(s) of coverage as input into management routines.
- USA Patriot Act Section 314(a) coordination and transaction search.
- USA Patriot Act Section 314(b) incoming requests review.
- Intelligence gathering from money laundering and terrorist financing related Grand Jury Subpoenas, Seizure Warrants, and Law Enforcement Special Requests.
- Account Re-Entry alert review for parties exited for AML Cause that have returned to the Bank.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Financial Services experience and/or related government entity.
- Anti-Money Laundering experience.
- Financial Crimes experience.
- SQL experience.
