Apex Systems is looking to hire a Business Analyst for one of our largest financial industry clients.
Description: Oversight of initiative financials to minimize risk and provide guidance for consistent application of financial management standards for technology executives. Responsible for analyzing the financial status of the initiative portfolio and identifying solutions to any risk/issues to keep the portfolio within minimal variance to approved budget to complete the work prioritized by the business partners.
Effectively communicates with executive leadership, peers, and business partners (Finance, LOB, Enterprise Initiative Planning, and technology teams). Must be able to research and effectively manage issues and gaps timely. Ability to analyze complex data/processes and identify people, process and/or technology impacts. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated self-starter.
Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, and influencing skills. Effectively communicates with executive leadership, peers, and business partners, including communicating the risks/reward associated with decisions and ensuring all controls are in place to sustain risk mitigation. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Team player. Project Management skills. Strong financial experience. Experience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure project allocations are maintained within funding limit.
