Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who is organized, motivated, initiative-taking, and accountable for their work but can impact and become a future leader of our firm Strategizing and implementing plans to assist a diverse client base in improving their financial reporting systems and economic performance. Specific tasks are Tax review, Complex tax preparation, IRS notices\Research, IRS representation. Our aim is to continue to grow by partnering with our increasing client base by minimizing the routine elements of accounting services which can be automated while maximizing our skills at recognizing opportunities and assisting clients to seize them, and other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years in Public accounting - administrative support experience in a CPA firm setting
- Experience with various Federal and State tax returns including Individual, Corporate, Trust, Estate, Nonprofit and Partnership
- Ability and experience interfacing and effectively communicating with clients involved in various industries regarding QuickBooks and business needs
- Strong accounting knowledge, US GAAP, and Client Accounting Support
- Strong technology skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, and UltraTax software

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification or Enrolled Agent (EA) Certification
