The New Home Sales Consultant supports the organization’s mission to provide superior quality, lasting value, and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day work-flow processes that affect Holiday Builders. The New Home Sales Consultant represents the company to potential home buyers/customers and is a licensed sales agent responsible for selling homes in the area assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shows and sells homes to prospective buyers; accompanies customers to home sites; quotes purchase prices; describes features/options and quotes terms and conditions of sales.
- Prepares sales contracts and assists in coordinating closing activities.
- Develops individual business plans, makes revisions and updates monthly.
- Develops and maintains realtor/broker contacts.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the model center.
- Prepares and maintains databases and reports of prospective buyers’ information, traffic counts through model centers and other statistical data pertinent to sales activities.
- Monitors model centers/showcase homes to ensure cleanliness and appearance and arranges for repairs as necessary.
- Attends region/division meetings, sales meetings, trade shows, association meetings, etc. to keep informed of market conditions, property values, and legislation which affects the residential home sale industry.
- Develops and maintains competitive market analysis in selling area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
2-3 years previous sales and/or customer service experience.
Current real estate license in those states where legally required.
Skills/Abilities
- Solid networking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, MLS, CRM software, IHMS database, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in mortgage financing.
Physical Demands
Able to lift, push, or move 10 to 25 pounds without assistance.
Frequent travel required to attend realtor events, region/division sales meetings, trade shows, etc.
Requires the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch to gain access to equipment, files, and office supplies.
