Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant is an integral member of the Livewire team. He/she is directly responsible for securing new business and managing relationships with both new & existing clients. He/she is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals and maintaining a continuous prospecting system through networking and outbound activities. He/she must possess the ability to maintain a current knowledge of all Livewire products and services. He/she is responsible for both calling on existing customers to increase market share and producing a maximum amount of profitable new account sales with long term recurring revenue contracts. This position will require the candidate to collaborate with all aspects of the business and possess the ability to influence without authority.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Expand Livewire’s customer base by securing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage client accounts, providing ongoing support and solutions at every stage of the sales process.
- Collaborate with Livewire’s Design & Engineering department to create/update client proposals, presentations and design documents.
- Meet with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance for all aspects of Livewire’s product and service offerings.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations relevant to Livewire’s offerings.
- Utilize various prospecting methods (Referrals, Leads, Cold Calls, Networking, etc.) to grow Livewire’s client base.
- Maintain active involvement in trade associations, including holding a board position in at least one.
- Submit regular progress reports, including sales pipeline updates, mileage, and status of ongoing work.
- Use CRM tools to track and manage all activities, ensuring all customer data is up to date.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred) or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1-3 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new account acquisition and business development.
- B+ or higher credit score.
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Richmond, VA.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a DCJS License.
- All other duties as assigned.
