A well-known manufacturing client with a strong focus on innovation and excellence in production processes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join the project team.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage SAP PP (Production Planning) module for an upgrade to S4 HANA.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional specifications.
- Configure and customize SAP PP to align with business needs, including production orders, MRP, BOMs, routings, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PP with other modules (e.g., MM, QM, SD, FI/CO).
- Provide expertise in process improvements and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
- Conduct testing, training, and post-go-live support for end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PP and related processes.
- Stay updated on new SAP functionalities and best practices in production planning and manufacturing.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation and support.
- Proven experience with leading an upgrade/conversion from SAP ECC6 to S4 HANA.
- Strong knowledge of production planning processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in configuring SAP PP sub-modules (e.g., demand management, MRP, production orders, BOMs).
- Familiarity with SAP integration to MM, QM, and other SAP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to work with technical teams and end users effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:- SAP PP certification is a plus.
- Experience in S/4HANA environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry standards and regulations.
