Fuel, Propane, Lubricants Sales Consultant
Job Summary: Promote Energy sales and increase profits by actively contacting prospective and existing customers and professionally promote our product and services.
Responsibilities
- Grow the business in a manner that is consistent with our core values.
- Evaluate needs of customers in our service area, potentially leading to expanding our product line.
- Help develop the existing customer base through product knowledge.
- Develop new sales leads by prospecting and pursuing targeted new business through calling or on-site visits, attending trade shows, initiating mailings and other related activities.
- Develop and leverage relationships with businesses and industry entities such as agriculture, real estate companies, home builder associations, and other trade organizations to cultivate new business prospects.
- Build trust with new and existing customers by identifying needs, providing advice and effective solutions to their needs.
- Receive, follow up and resolve or ensure resolution of customer complaints/queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Required to build and maintain strong customer relationships with frequent communication to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Actively participate in industry organizations to continually build a professional network.
- Attend training sessions to keep up to date with the latest products and technology.
- Track and sometimes deliver lube products as required.
- Assist team with problem solving when need arises.
- Research and inform customers of technical aspects of Petroleum and related energy products.
Special Skills/Training
- A working knowledge of Refined Fuel, Lubricants, & Propane.
- Energy Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers.
- Knowledge of computer systems and associated software.

Compensation
- Annual Salary Rate: $58,968.00 - $65,520.00.
- Commission is earned by cents per gallon, varies based on product type.
