Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
Compliance Consultant is responsible for delivering and executing foundational compliance responsibilities that support the East Medicaid business team and management.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Report, communicate, research laws at the advanced level, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits and/or exams.
- Provide advanced level support to regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, risk assessments.
- At the advanced level, analyze and extract regulatory data, documentation for compliance with requirements.
- Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes, draft corrective actions/remediation plans.
- Conduct investigations, document findings, update stakeholders and leadership on developments, comply with notification requirements, ensure corrective actions are made.
- Ability to travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
