Overview
Lutron is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Human Resources professional out of our corporate headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will apply your ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure to support employees across various corporate functions. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our organization through effective HR programs and initiatives. You will partner with both business and Human Resources leadership to execute HR programs and put plans in place that will support both our current and future employee needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our business and Human Resources leadership teams to anticipate organizational needs and execute HR programs.
- Develop and implement coverage plans and staffing strategies to ensure optimal team composition and resource allocation.
- Assist in the attraction and hiring of the best people.
- Drive innovative retention strategies.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and benefits team on the seamless execution of onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Champion the development of our people, fostering an environment that enables our people to reach their full potential.
- Partner closely with leaders to ensure the effective execution of people programs, aligning with business objectives and organizational culture.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize people initiatives, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
- Apply your proven communication skills to effectively coordinate and present HR updates to team members and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven understanding of HR principles and practices.
- HR certification preferred (SPHR/SHRM-SCP).
