Job Description
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Big Data Consultant.
Position type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Charlotte, NC
As a Big Data Consultant, you will:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
The ideal candidate will have:- Experience with Google Cloud (GCP) platform, Big Query (BQ), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google Dataplex, Dataproc, Dataflow and Google API offerings.
- Experience in building scalable data platforms on Data Lake/Hadoop infrastructure.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and SDLC tooling, CI/CD pipeline, SQL, UNIX.
- Strong background in design and implementation of data frameworks and hands-on experience building scalable data platforms on Cloud Platform.
- Strong Data Engineering experience with Google Cloud (GCP) platform and frameworks including Big Query (BQ), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google Dataplex, Dataproc, Dataflow and Google API offerings.
- Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end products with cloud services and cloud architectures at scale.
- Experience in building scalable data platforms on Data Lake/Hadoop infrastructure.
- Ability to lead complex technology Cloud buildout and migrations to Google platforms.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and SDLC tooling, CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, Harness).
- Experience working on Unix platforms.
- Strong background in building Data Warehouse and SQL/analytic tools (Dremio, Hive/Toad).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Range*: <$65 to $75 per hour
