Summary:
The Hyper Automation Sales Consultant is a dynamic, results-oriented professional responsible for driving revenue growth through the identification, development, and closure of sales opportunities within the hyper automation domain. This individual will leverage their sales expertise, deep technical knowledge, and consultative approach to establish trusted relationships with clients, understand their unique business challenges, and propose tailored hyper automation solutions that deliver transformative value.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities by leveraging a multi-pronged approach, encompassing networking, cold outreach, and targeted account strategies. Utilize market intelligence and industry knowledge to identify and prioritize high-potential clients and verticals.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Function as a trusted advisor, engaging with clients in in-depth discovery sessions to unearth process inefficiencies and automation potential. Collaborate with technical experts to design custom hyper automation solutions that directly address client pain points.
- Solution Advocacy: Articulate the compelling value proposition and ROI of hyper automation solutions through persuasive sales presentations and proposals. Showcase your command of product knowledge and competitive insights, emphasizing the unique capabilities and benefits of specific technologies like BPM, RPA, AI, ML, and process mining.
- Sales Cycle Management: Steer clients through the entire sales journey, from initial contact to contract execution and successful closure. Maintain a well-organized and actively managed sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, and consistently surpass sales targets.
- Internal Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and delivery teams, to ensure seamless transitions and successful implementations.
- Technology Expertise: Demonstrate profound technical understanding of hyper automation technologies, including:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Bots that automate repetitive, rule-based tasks.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML): Cognitive capabilities for advanced decision-making and process optimization.
- Process Mining/ Business Process Management: Data-driven insights to uncover process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Low-Code/No-Code Platforms: Tools that empower business users to participate in automation development.
Domain Experience: Possess a strong foundation in one or more of the following industry verticals:
- Financial Services: Banking, insurance, investment management.
- Healthcare: Provider, payer, life sciences.
- Manufacturing: Discrete, process, consumer packaged goods.
- Retail and eCommerce: Brick-and-mortar, online, omnichannel.
- Telecommunications: Wireless, broadband, cable.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience selling to enterprise clients within your chosen domain is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their automation capabilities is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of proven sales success in the technology industry, with a focus on enterprise software or automation solutions.
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Deep technical understanding of hyper automation technologies and their applications within specific industries.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and cultivate relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a hunter mentality and a passion for closing deals.
