The Functional Lead will plan and lead the implementation of all activities for a specific business function to improve performance for the business function end to end. Ensure alignment with business requirements including process analysis, design/re-design and/or organization structure definition.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Requirement activities.
- Lead the functional design activities.
- Providing functional support to Developers and Systems Analysts.
- Help Agile Teams deliver successfully and meet contract obligations.
- Plan and facilitate agile events in a manner that provides value, and fosters engagement.
- Make work visible, using charts, reports and other information radiators to communicate real-time status.
- Help teams identify, resolve, and escalate risks, and impediments.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture by facilitating assessments and providing data to aid in the identification of improvement goals.
- Work closely with engineering teams to identify opportunities to automate and improve the way the technical solution is tested, built, integrated and deployed.
What you will need…
- U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant/Lead.
- Experience in leading requirement activities.
- Experience in leading the functional design activities.
- Experience managing team activity and reporting using Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in a software development environment.
- Strong facilitation skills and client-facing presence, both in-person and remote.
- Experience using remote facilitation tools to coordinate planning and workshops.
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Location: This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours. Residency in the United States is a mandatory requirement.
