- Department: 20 bed ED that treats 40,000 patients annually
- Nurse Manager, Emergency Department (RN) will be well supported by a team of Charge Nurses and an Educator
- Reports directly to a dynamic and transformational Nursing Director
About the Nurse Manager, Emergency Department (RN) Position:
In this role, your main responsibilities will include managing the day to day operations of the department, managing and mentoring your team, ensuring effective staffing strategies, improving and maintaining key performance indicators, preparing the department for regulatory visits, and building positive relationships with physicians and hospital leadership. We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the highest quality of care is consistently provided to our community.
Qualifications & Requirements for the Nurse Manager, Emergency Department (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (BSN)
- Active RN License
- 5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
- 2+ years of ER leadership experience at the Coordinator/Supervisor level or above
- Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership
- Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels
- Collaborative, team building personality style
