Location
Our client is located in Lebanon, Virginia. Located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, this area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering countless lakes and streams perfect for various activities, including fly fishing! Just a 15-minute drive brings you to the Appalachian Trail for exceptional hiking experiences. Motorcyclists will find some of the best roads in the world here, and culture flourishes with the State Theater of Virginia, the Barter Theater, and four other live theaters only 15 minutes away. The historic Martha Washington Inn and award-winning restaurants are also nearby. Despite its small size, Lebanon has new schools with excellent teachers who have received state and national accolades. Practice Overview
Our client is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice with a beautiful and newly renovated 10,000 sq. ft. facility. They are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital X-ray, IDEXX systems, a full in-house laboratory, and the newest ultrasound equipment. Their team focuses on the quality of medicine they provide to their patients and the quality relationships they create with their clients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Virginia

- Ability to perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
