Certifications:
BLS (completed through AHA or ARC only), ACLS required

CVOR experience
Job Description:
- Provide professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and perform all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Maintain clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward the attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Lead within the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
- Contribute to quality nursing practice.
- Evaluate one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.

Additional Information:
- Work involves walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must have intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, and finger dexterity.
- Requires critical thinking and the ability to concentrate.
- Must respond quickly to changes in patient or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing required.
- Schedule: Friday/Saturday 1 weekday.
- Scrubs will be provided.
