Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: Monday - Thursday (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Schedule: 4 Shifts Per Week (40 Hours)

Salary Range: $33 - $48 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for external candidates

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and contribute to patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Strong experience in the field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures following exam protocols and maintain efficient production standards.
Utilize AIDET communication techniques to establish rapport with patients, explain procedures, and assess patient comfort.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, including positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and configuring equipment controls.
Ensure safety of patients and staff by adhering to infection control, radiation policies, and safety protocols.
Maintain equipment and work areas in compliance with cleanliness and operational standards, and report any issues to management.
Accurately document patient information, including requisitions, patient history, pregnancy status, and procedure details.
Adhere to system workflows, including PACS, EMR, modality worklist integrity, and record management protocols.
Maintain medical imaging records in compliance with department standards for timely interpretation.
Train and mentor new team members on services, procedures, and initiatives.
Be available for on-call duties if required.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Certification or registration in one of the following:
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, or Musculoskeletal
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or Breast Sonography (BS)
Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) from Cardio Credentialing International (CCI)
Prior ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
