Are you ready for it? Healing Pathways of Houston is a growing group practice searching for a dynamic therapist to add to our team! We offer counseling services to individuals, couples, families, children, and teens in the greater Houston area (Memorial and Upper Kirby). We are very passionate about training, education, and supporting the growth of the therapy field. With that said, we always have clinical interns on our team. Right now, our exciting opportunity is for fully licensed therapists only at this time at our Memorial office located at 9235 Katy Freeway, Suite 140-160, Houston, TX 77024. Our ideal candidate is a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain caseload of 25 clients/week (minimum for FT)
- Monitor each client situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care
- Use client medical information, interviews, observation, testing, and assessments as well as collaboration with other team members to determine a client's mental health status
- Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives
- Refer clients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary
- Aid with crisis intervention for clients when they are in a state of high distress
- Participate in weekly team consultation
- Participate in monthly team meetings
- Participate in quarterly team social gatherings, based upon scheduling
- Work collaboratively with our administrative, clinical, and leadership team members
- Commit to 1 marketing activity each quarter (e.g. attending networking event, hosting a workshop, writing a blog, etc...)
Qualifications:
- Full, independent licensure in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required
- Master's degree in counseling, or other related field
- 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with clients is required
- You're reliable, motivated, and independent.

Compensation:
$60,000 per year
