Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Radiation Therapist to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, in Virginia Beach.
This position will also provide support to other southside Hampton Roads hospitals in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Elizabeth City.
Hours/Shift:
PRN/Flexi
Dayshift hours.
Rotating start time dependent on patient volume, hours will fall between 6am and 5:30pm.

Job Summary
Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
New graduates required to pass boards within 6 months of hire. Applicants who completed an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of an associate's degree will also be considered.
Qualifications:
ALD - Associate's Level Degree: Radiologic Technology (Required)
ARRT Radiation Therapy (T) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI.
