Responsibilities
This is an excellent role for someone who likes routine and wants to keep their skills sharp. Your day-to-day nursing tasks will depend on the tailored needs of your patients. In addition to clinical skills, you'll educate patients and their families about the disease processes contributing to impairments/disabilities and teach nursing techniques to help them develop the self-care skills necessary to move toward wellness on the illness-wellness continuum.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Coordinate care for various speech, physical, occupational, or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day.
- Prepare patients and their families for future self-management and decision-making responsibilities by fostering patients' independence and goal achievement.
- Identify comprehensive care plans based on patient goals and maximum potential.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary team process at team conferences and offer input into team decision-making.
Qualifications
We are offering a $10,000 Sign-On bonus and up to $10,000 to help repay student loans to new hires who meet the following eligibility requirements.
What You’ll Need
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
