DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health & Recovery
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Lead Clinical Psychologist and Behavioral Health Director, will provide any and all services consistent with the profession of clinical psychology to children, adolescents, and adults in the Tulalip community. These may include, but are not limited to, cognitive/intellectual testing, psychological evaluations of mental health and personality factors, individual, group, and family therapy, and consultation with other healthcare professionals in an integrated health team model. Occasional evaluations related to forensic and criminal justice matters may be requested, and some degree of expertise with brain and nervous system function is highly desirable.
COMPENSATION: $DOE
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Psychology, Clinical or Counseling emphasis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) years’ experience working with adults, children and families; demonstrating sensitivity to individual, family and cultural difference and ability to engage and work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Three (3) years providing direct mental health services.
- One (1) year working as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, preferably with Tribal Communities.
- One (1) year experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with knowledge and experience working with Trauma-Focused CBT.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:
- WA State Driver’s License & Personal Auto Insurance.
- Must be a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Washington in good standing.
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment.
- CPR/First Aide Certificate. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment.
- Must complete HIPAA training upon hire.
- Must complete required Health Services credentialing process prior to start date.
- Must abide by the Department’s vaccination policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a contracted position.
