Responsibilities
The Opportunity:
Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada is currently seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners to join our growing outpatient primary care team in Las Vegas and Henderson.

- Adult medicine including:
- Acute sick visits
- Lab/imaging follow-up appointments
- Management of stable chronic medical conditions, with the goal of moving to management of medically complex patients

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of ambulatory primary care NP experience required
- Local candidates preferred
- R.N. Degree Advanced Practitioner of Nursing
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care
- Ability to assess medical conditions and interpret findings
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly; strong organizational, project management, and education development skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilize the electronic medical record
- Demonstrates organizational skills and strong leadership ability
- Certification as Advanced Practice RN; licensed in Nevada as an Advanced Practice RN (must obtain Nevada license prior to hire)
- CT CPRBLS – Basic Life Support – AHA
