Overview:
Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, performs CT and X-Ray examinations. Performs a variety of procedures which require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or radiopharmaceuticals to obtain CT and/or X-Ray. Will perform all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Mercy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum 2 year AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology, associate or baccalaureate degree.
- Licensure: Certification with ARRT. CT and/or X-Ray registered or registry eligible within 12 months of hire. Must have Arkansas State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Experience: 12 months experience preferred.
- Certifications: Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within a reasonable time-frame (generally within 6 months), based on skills, knowledge and experience.
- Other: Good oral and written communication skills.
