Overview
The Hospitalist team at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about inpatient medicine and excited about clinical quality. This role will function as a critical member of the health care team working collaboratively with a group of Hospitalists (both physicians and advanced practice providers). The care team delivers care to inpatients at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center; both East and West Bank campuses.
Practice Details:
- This position meets our patient needs through working block schedule of 7 on 7 off.
- 40-100% of schedule is evening hours based on personal preference
- No nights!
- FTE is 1.0
- We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work on various services.
- Cross cover
- Admissions, rounding, discharges
- Medical consults on inpatient behavioral health
- Rapid response and code sepsis, optional service
- Must be interested in working in a large academic environment with high acuity and complex patients.
- We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Adult/Gero, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner training program
- BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
- Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Inpatient experience preferred
