Overview
Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time AP/CP-boarded or board eligible, Surgical Pathologist with expertise/training in Gastrointestinal Pathology, to join community practice based at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.
Practice Details:
- Join a team of community Pathologists, working in close collaborations with pathologists at the University of Minnesota.
- Lead the Fairview Health Services Gastrointestinal Pathology practice serving the community hospitals.
- Practice base: M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital; privileges at Southdale, Ridges, Northland, Lakes, St. John’s, Woodwinds, Bethesda, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview clinics.
- Call Frequency: On rotation schedule with other Fairview pathologists.
- Areas of practice: Gastrointestinal pathology, including medical liver pathology. Frozen section service. Rapid on-site evaluation for specimen adequacy of surgical and cytology specimens.
- Experience/training in gastrointestinal pathology preferred.
- Participate in the Anatomic Pathology quality management program of the community hospitals.
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency training program.
- BC/BE in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of Pathology.
- Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship training or equivalent experience.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
