Job Description: The Anesthesia Technician functions under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA, or Registered Nurse and performs delegated functions. Provides safe, effective cleaning of all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards. Assumes responsibility to order and prepare supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures, observes Universal Precautions, and is responsible for meeting the Standards of Care. Patient age may range from neonate to geriatric.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities.
- License/Certification: BLS required.
- Other: Knowledge of medical terminology.
Compensation: $19 - $25.17, Hourly
